Details about Dead Island: Riptide and its special edition version have been announced by deep silver. This series is a follow up to the Dead Island which first came out in 2011. A pre-order program for this special North American edition of Dead Island: Riptide will be available at participating retailers. The game will launch in North America in April of 2013. The new version of the game brings gorgeous locations to explore, greater types of zombies and more gameplay mechanics. The survival arsenal of players in this game will have a digital strategy map, unique character skin and exclusive weapon mods.
